I'm Scared

Howdy. I'm going to have soem pretty killer pictures from my Saskafari, like from the plane. I took a bunch. But I haven't had anytime to download them, or upload them I guess. Whatever. So I'll talk about Saskafaria later.

Here are two drawings. The batman/bunny is a sketch I copied off of www.imscared.com which is the art of Greg Simkins who is, well, friggin intense. You could spend ghours looking at all the good stuff on his site. The second drawing is just a creepy thing i drew after I looked at his site for a few hours. Inspired by i suppose you could say. I like putting those anime line behind things as background. It looks cool.

THis would be the dumpster/alley where the hair cutting place is in the valentines building doo dad. At the back. I did this during the summer while Rena was getting her hair coiffed.

The dumpster is the highlight. I was trying to practice drawing ordinary stuff, for backgrounds and what not.

Snap Caravan Pictures

This was a fun show. These are pictures of the band Snap Caravan who we opened for. The picture of Matt is freakin gold. Such a great rock n' roll picture. I'm glad I was able to get that one. Unfortunately my picture taking luck didn't work on Guy's picture, sorry Guy, that's a bad picture.

Howdy, these are some sketches of a robot character I made up a while ago that in an ideal world I would have a comic made for but I haven't really invested any time into except some ideas. So it goes. I've been told he looks alot like SCUD the Disposable Assassin which is a comic I've never heard of, but I like my robot better anyway.

Snakes on a Plane

My friend from the Skatch emailed me the other day and the subject line was" snakes o na plane" and I thought ti was kind of funny and wondered what it was from, or if it was from anything at all, as Ryan is an odd fellow liek myself and often says things that make no sense. (like myself) I forgot about ti then saw a www.nataliedee.com funny picture where she talks about snakes on a plane. My curiosity being even more excited I googled that muthafluffa and here you go.

Secret Society pour Moi

 

Yo! the Secret Crocodile Adventure Society was havign a drawing contest and i forgot to enter on time, but I still entered. So I don't think I win any prizes, but i think it turned out pretty cool. The dude that made it up has a thing against gavials (skinny nose/mouth croc) so I thought he might get a kick out of the speech bubble. Anyhoo, enjoy.

I thought up this idea while at work. It made me chuckle so I'm sure internauts would like it. I'm sending it to www.animalshaveproblemstoo.com and www.conanvsbear.com in hopesthat one of them will post it. But if not, hey it's posted here right?

Next time I do one of these I have to remember to use a smaller sketchbook, this one is just an inch or so bigger than my scanner so it was a little problematic.
